LPC  -Associate Supervision

I cannot teach anybody anything,
I can only make them think

-Socrates

Catalina Prebisch offers training and supervision for LPC-Associates. She has been an LPC supervisor since May 2015. Supervising interns is one of her passions in this field and she takes this role very serious. As a supervisor she will emphasis the importance of being ethical and will use that as the foundation for supervision. Catalina sees supervision as a collaborative effort. Her background is in cognitive-behavioral and humanistic therapy, but she will incorporate other theoretical approaches while supervising. Among many things supervisees can expect to learn how to diagnose and conceptualize cases, build therapeutic alliances, design interventions, create treatment plans, handle difficult ethical dilemmas and compliance issues, and develop a solid referral source bank while developing a professional support group.

If you are a good fit to embark in this journey with Catalina, supervision is offered in weekly individual sessions and one monthly group session. Supervision will be provided in an atmosphere that both supports and challenges your professional knowledge.

If you decide to set up an initial meeting with Catalina please remember that it’s important that you interview her just as much as she interviews you. She looks forward to sharing her approach with you in more detail, while also learning more about your goals, aspirations and philosophy. To set up a time to meet please click on the 'contact us' tab and fill out the requested information.
