Are you interested in becoming an MFT and/or LPC Supervisor?

 

Catalina Prebisch LPC-S and Jamie Porter, LMFT-S, LPC-S are Kate Walker Certified Supervisor Trainers. They offer a 40 hours course of which 20 are in class training and 20 are home based study. This course meets all of the Texas State licensing board requirements for Supervisors. Also, 14 out of the 40 hours are of ethics and legal issues. Their goal is to teach you skills and strategies on how to be an effective supervisor while embracing your knowledge on how to protect you and your supervisee's license. With over 12 years of combined supervision experience they will offer a lot of hands-on support and practical guidance for you to gain confidence and feel ready to embark on this journey called ' Supervision'. 

 

Dates and Times: Friday and Saturday from 8am to 6pm

 

Total Cost: $700 (to be paid in full prior to startup date)

Catalina Prebisch LPC-S and Jamie Porter LMFT-S and LPC-S offer 6 hours of in-class training for supervisors. During this course we will review supervisor rules/regulations under the BHEC guidelines for both LPC-S and MFT-S, discuss ethical dilemmas, consult on supervision cases, and share interventions and handouts.
